I’ll never forget her describing the moment she pulled her car over and cried out to God, “If you can do anything with this mess, I give up.” That surrender, with just a mustard seed of faith, hit me hard—it reminded me of times I’ve had to let go and trust God in my own life.

God’s Miraculous Provision Left Me in Awe

What amazed me most was hearing how God provided for Sabrina in ways I could hardly believe. When she started attending church, the women there threw her a baby shower, showering her with love she felt she didn’t deserve. She called it “living water to my soul,” and I could feel the weight of that moment as she shared it. Later, when God called her to quit her job and move for school with no plan, He showed up again: a $500 check from her church, a housing spot that jumped her to number 1 on the list, and $80 from a friend when she had just $20 left. As she told me these stories, I was in awe of God’s perfect timing—it gave me chills thinking about His faithfulness in my own journey.

A Contentment That Inspired Me

But the part that inspired me most was Sabrina’s journey to contentment. She looked me in the eye and said, “It’s been You the whole time,” realizing God was her true source after years of seeking validation elsewhere. That peace allowed her to wait on God’s plan, and He brought her a husband—not out of need, but as a blessing. Hearing her trust in God’s timing challenged me to lean into that same faith in my own waiting seasons.
